The Ankylosaurs have been found in Western North America, dated to the late Cretaceous Period. The name Ankylosaurus means �fused lizard� because the bones of their skull, as well as other bones in their body, appeared to be fused together. This along with the boney plating gives this dinosaur a tank-like feeling. I gave Stanley armor plating with cool colors and wrapped his legs for a little extra feeling of strength.
