A tree in winter can appear lifeless, but there is so much more happening in a single tree than most would think. Trees may drop their leaves, but the trunk, roots and limbs are still alive and well. The tree is also providing homes and sometimes food to animals. This is why trees are so important in almost every culture. I drew Lumi with cool colors and frosty accents.
